This past weekend I spent my time camping in the sacred Carrizo Plain with some of my favorite people. There are very few things in this life that set my soul on fire and this place definitely did. I actually ended up wandering off on a trail by myself for about an hour just exploring the lush landscapes around us. I started walking up the path by our campsite around golden hour, so immediately I knew most of the shots I took where going to be amazing. There was a moment on the trail where I had literally stopped, hit record on my camera, and just watched as the light and wind rustled and flickered off the tall flowing grass. The sights and the sounds where so stimulating I nearly started crying from how surreal the moment felt. It was as if for a moment I had been teleported to another world.
